Utilize our library & archives to research:

  • Your family history (or family tree).
  • History of your Martinez house.
  • Other local historical research.

Events

Attend our frequent social events:

  • Antique Road Show.  Receive valuations of your antiques or collectibles at no charge.   Refreshments.
  • A variety of lectures, teas, BBQ’s, open houses, tours and other events throughout the year.  Meals or refreshments served.
  • Priority for tickets to our famous Crab Feed -- with its HUGE number of raffle prizes.
  • Priority for tickets to our newest annual event:  our Polenta Dinner – with entertainment by Martinez Opera.

  • The Borland House Museum – and its exhibits.

  • Restoration of the historic Martinez Railroad Depot.
  • Placement of bronze plaques on historic local buildings.
  • Publication of books & booklets on Martinez history.
  • Walking tours of our historic downtown. 
  • Daytime and nighttime tours of our pioneer cemetery.
  • Museum tours & special exhibits for the town’s school children.
  • Collection & preservation of historical artifacts, photos, and documents from Martinez & the surrounding areas.
